Day 1:
Depart UK To Dover and across to Calais, then settle down as we travel overnight through France. |
Day 8/15:
Depart Salou Leave after lunch and travel back overnight through France. (B,L) |
Day 2: Arrive Salou An early morning drive across the Spanish border sees us arrive in Salou around lunchtime. (D) |
Day 9/16: Salou to UK Calais, Dover then home. |
Day 3 to 7/14: Salou Here, in your all-inclusive hotel with excellent facilities you will really start to relax and, with its miles of sandy beaches and bars and restaurants nearby, your days and nights will be well catered for. Day: Barcelona The world-famous cosmopolitan city of Barcelona is a lively and exciting place. With its unusual Gaudi architecture that is its trademark, the city is full of things to do and sights to see, including Las Ramblas, packed with shops, bars and restaurants; Montjuic, the mountain overlooking the city where the 1992 Olympics took place; and Camp Nou, home to Barcelona FC. Full Day: Costa Dorada A journey inland through the vineyards and olive trees to explore some of the traditional villages that make up ‘real’ Spain. We’ll visit the historic town of Montblanc with its medieval walls, Santa Creus with its ancient monasteries, and Valls, where the local delicacy is calçots, or roasted spring onions. Full Day: Cambrils Market Enjoy the atmosphere of the old town, where you can taste local products, try some of the many delicious seafood specialities for sale, and take home some world-class olive oil.
