(included) Today introduces Tossa de Mar, a typical coastal town, Lloret de Mar, the busiest and liveliest resort on the coast, and Blanes, once renowned for its lace. |
Day 4 Girona and Besalu
(optional) The medieval ‘city of a thousand sieges’ is home to many Catalan Romanesque structures and an imposing Gothic cathedral. Enjoy medieval Besalu, with its historic churches and intriguing little shops. |
Day 5 Montserrat (included) This famous monastery sits amidst spectacular scenery. Thousands visit the 12th-century ‘La Moreneta’ statue of the black virgin every year. |
Day 6 Barcelona (included) The Catalan capital offers a wealth of modernist architecture to explore and the chance to sample local tapas cuisine. Our optional guided sightseeing tour covers the most famous sights. |
Day 7 Catalan Country Tour

You’ll stay for six nights at the 3-star Hotel
Florida Park located in Santa Susanna, close
to the beach on the Costa del Maresme.The hotel is
ideally located for our excursion
programme or personal exploration, with
a regular train service along the coast to
many of the resorts. There are lifts, a large
bar area, lounge, restaurant, sun terrace,
outdoor swimming pool and indoor
leisure complex, including swimming pool
(daily charge). All bedrooms have T.V.,

On all Single Traveller
holidays, at no extra charge and providing you live within
20 miles of one of our joining points, we will collect you
from your home and take you to one of our local joining
points, then return you to your home at the end of your
holiday. On holidays of 12 days duration or more, plus on
the Oberammergau packages, you can reserve this Door-to-Door
service for a charge of £39.99 per car (up to four people
