Day 3 Achensee and Ziller
Valley (included) We explore the beautiful alpine surroundings of Lake Achensee before visiting the traditional resort of Mayrhofen. |
Day 4 Salzburg (included) Salzburg, the setting for ‘The Sound of Music’, offers lovely squares, medieval lanes, quaint cafés and gothic churches. See the main sights on our optional guided sightseeing tour. |
Day 5 Grossglockner Glacier
(optional) We travel along the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse to the top of Austria’s highest mountain, the Grossglockner, to see the impressive glacier. |
Day 6 Zell-am-See and Kitzbühel
(included) Stroll along the lakeside promenade in Zell. Later, we visit the fashionable resort of Kitzbühel. |
Day 7 Innsbruck (optional
with guided tour) Innsbruck offers great shopping along Maria Theresien Strasse. We see the Olympic ski jump venue and the Wilten Basilica, before a short walking tour during which we will see Hofburg Palace and the famous Golden Roof building (entrance extra). |

For the duration of your
stay you will have sole use of your own room. You’ll stay
for six nights at the 4-star Hotel Sonnschein in Niederau
which has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool (subject to
season), tennis and crazy golf (small charge), jacuzzi,
sauna, solarium and fitness room. The hotel also has a bar
and restaurant. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, radio

20 miles of one of our joining points, we will collect you
from your home and take you to one of our local joining
points, then return you to your home at the end of your
holiday. On holidays of 12 days duration or more, plus on
the Oberammergau packages, you can reserve this Door-to-Door
service for a charge of £39.99 per car (up to four people
