Cologne’s floating market, aboard one of the cruise ships moored along the Rhine promenade, is one of the city’s six, making these markets some of the largest in Germany. Along with the largest Christmas tree in the Rhineland, which is decorated with twinkling lights, each of the markets has its own particular character, offering different seasonal gifts and decorations. |

| Your Cruise Ship |
The ‘M.S. Prinses
Juliana’ is a 3-star standard cruise ship. Onboard facilities
include three decks, a sun deck and a lounge, bar and restaurant.
All cabins are on the Main Deck and have twin beds and telephone.
Each night the ship will moor in a central location of each
town and city, allowing you the opportunity to easily visit
the main sights and, of course, the Christmas markets. |

Bonn to later reach Cologne. We will have plenty of time to
explore the city’s fascinating Christmas markets and discover

cruise to Düsseldorf, which boasts two main
Christmas markets, located in the Old Town
and around the Schadowplatz. The wooden
huts of the Christmas markets offer a vast
selection of festive goods, including
woodcarvings and luxury jams. |

Düsseldorf enjoys a very
special charm at this time of year. The scent of mulled wine,
gingerbread and cinnamon cakes lingers around the Christmas
market stalls, whilst the chestnut trees on the Königsallee
glitter with a thousand lights. You will have plenty of time
for shopping before rejoining our ship for a second night
moored in Düsseldorf. |
Day 3 Cologne (included)

We cruise this
morning to Cologne, where we moor for
one night. There’s a whole host of markets
to explore, each with its own unique
character. Start at the cathedral, where
brightly decorated booths await. |
Day 4 Koblenz (included) |
We cruise to Andernach,
where you will be able to join our optional excursion by coach
to Ahrweiler and the Ahr Valley. The cruise will continue
to Koblenz (where those passengers who have joined the optional
excursion will rejoin the ship). Explore the Christmas markets
located in the centre. |
