Morning at leisure in Rabac, one of Istria’s largest beach resorts in a lovely position on a sheltered cove. In the afternoon we include an excursion to nearby Labin, situated on a hill above your resort. Afterwards we head to a winetasting venue at a typical Istrian ‘Konoba’, where you will be greeted by music played on traditional instruments before sampling local wines. |

Istria Tour (optional) Join a full-day tour along the coast of Istria, visiting the picturesque town of Rovinj, beautifully situated on a headland overlooking the sea. NEW YEAR'S EVE: Pula
(included) Join an excursion for shopping and sightseeing in Pula. Here you can see much evidence of the Roman period including the huge Arena, or amphitheatre, sixth largest in the world and also one of the best preserved. Like Verona in Italy, the arena is still used during the summer months for festivals. Return to our hotel in plenty of time to prepare for tonight’s festivities. B,D |
