Travel to Cork, Ireland’s third city. This important seaport is also home to numerous fine pubs. Our next stop is Blarney Castle and the world-famous Blarney Stone (entrance extra), where tradition has it that kissing the stone will give the gift of flattery and successful lying! We continue to our hotel in Glengarriff for three nights. B,D |
NEW YEAR'S EVE: Killarney
(included) This morning we head to Killarney, Gateway to the Ring of Kerry. This popular resort boasts a host of shops, pubs and restaurants and is a favoured haunt of holidaymakers. Become absorbed by the cheerful atmosphere and infectious Kerry humour of the families who have run jaunting cars for generations. Head back to our hotel for our New Year’s Eve party. B,D |
