at the 3-star Hotel Kristall in Diano Marina, only 100 metres
from the beach. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. All
bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. Overnight stays in the Paris area will be in city-style hotels. |

5 Paul de Vence and Cannes (optional) We cross into France to St. Paul de Vence, a beautiful fortified medieval village. We end the day in Cannes, famed for the International Film Festival. |

6 Monaco and Monte Carlo (optional) Monaco’s eight square miles form the smallest and almost certainly wealthiest sovereign state. Spend time in probably the most famous part of Monaco, Monte Carlo. |

7 Santa Margherita and Portofino (optional) Travel to Santa Margherita, an attractive resort revolving around a thriving marina. You have time at leisure to explore the town’s two seaside squares. During our visit we will take a boat cruise (weather permitting) to the exclusive resort of Portofino. If the weather prevents the cruise from operating, then we will visit the seaside resort of Alassio on the return journey instead. |
