DAY 1:
From Home to Dublin Make your way to Dublin airport from where we’ll take you to the Ashling Hotel for an overnight stay. |
DAY 5:
A day for you to explore Mallow at your
leisure Spend a relaxing day in Mallow |
DAY 2: From Dublin to Ennis, visiting
Shannonbridge along the way We leave Dublin and head to Tyrrell Pass before venturing on to Shannonbridge for a journey through the Blackwater Bog on a 3ft narrow gauge railway on the Clonmacnoise and West Offaly Railway! It’s then time to continue on to Ennis to the Auburn Lodge Hotel, our base for the next two nights. |
DAY 6: The Waterford & Suir Valley Railway Enjoy a scenic journey on the Waterford & Suir Valley Railway - it’s an outstanding ride along 6km of narrow gauge track. We stop in Waterford before continuing our journey to the outskirts of Dublin for our overnight stay at the Ardmore Hotel. |
DAY 3: We’re off to the West Clare Railway &
Foynes Flying Boat Musuem Today we fly back in time to before World War II with a fascinating visit to the Foynes Flying Boat Museum before taking a short ferry ride across the River Shannon to Killimer. Then we set off to join the West Clare Railway for a short journey on the Kilrush and Kilkee line. Heading back to the hotel we take the scenic route passed the Cliffs of Moher – what a great day! |
DAY 7: From Dublin back to home After an Irish breakfast we bid you farewell, as we drop you back off at Dublin Airport |
DAY 4: From Ennis to Mallow, visiting Limerick
and Cobh along the way Our stay in Ennis is now over as we travel to medieval Limerick, then on to Cobh and the Queenstown Story where we’re told about the illfated Titanic and the story of Irish immigrants. We travel on to Cork, where you can spend an afternoon at leisure before we head off to the Hibernian Hotel in Mallow. |
