Heart of Wales Coach Tours - 5 or 8 Days Tour Highlights • Cambrian Mountains • Tywyn • Dinas-Mawddwy • Aberystwyth |
Situated seven hundred
feet above sea level and surrounded by some of the most beautiful
scenery in Wales, Llandrindod Wells is one of Britain’s hidden
treasures. It was the Victorians who developed the town into
one of the most fashionable Spa towns in Britain, and you
can still visit the Pump Room where it was once possible to
take the mineral rich waters. Temple Gardens is the perfect
place to relax and watch the world go by, whilst for the more
energetic there is a purpose-built indoor bowling centre nearby. |
| The Heart of Wales - Your Excursions |
FULL DAY Our full day excursion takes us to the seaside resort of Aberystwyth where there is an opportunity to take an optional ride on one of the ‘Great Little Trains of Wales’ - the Vale of Rheidol Steam railway (summer only). This marvellous journey winds its way through the hills, offering spectacular views down the valley, to Devil’s Bridge. |
FULL DAY A marvellous scenic full day tour of the Cambrian Mountains and coast. Our first visit is Machynlleth, site of the first Welsh Parliament, before travelling along the shores of the Dovey Estuary to the coastal resort of Aberdovey. Back into the Welsh countryside to Tywyn and pass mighty Cadir Idris on our way to the attractive mountain village of Dinas-Mawddwy. |
