Lying on a sandy bay between the giant headlands of the Great and Little Orme and with Snowdonia towering in the background, Llandudno is without doubt the ‘Queen of Welsh Resorts’. The town abounds with all the fun and entertainment of a traditional seaside holiday with attractions by the score.With such outstanding scenery on the doorstep, our included excursions are particularly spectacular!

North Wales Spectacular - Your Excursions
FULL DAY
A lovely full day excursion through magnificent Snowdonia National Park.We head into the mountains to Blaenau Ffestiniog, where there is an opportunity to take an optional ride on the famous Ffestiniog Steam Railway, to Porthmadog.We continue with the scenic journey to the slate mining town of Llanberis and a memorable drive over the breathtaking Llanberis Pass.
FULL DAY
Our day begins with the lovely scenic drive through the Vale of Conwy past Llanwrst with its elegant 17th century bridge and into the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains to Llangollen. Famous for its international Eisteddfod - music festival - and one of the prettiest towns on the River Dee. This afternoon we ascend the Horseshoe Pass, offering spectacular views across the Dee Valley, before arriving in St Asaph.

UNDER THE PERSONAL supervision of our hotel General Manager, Robert Buglass, the ever-popular Grand Ash is perfectly situated in a tree-lined avenue just five minutes level stroll to the promenade and town centre. There is a large lounge area with plenty of comfortable seating, a well-stocked bar, and a lovely bright dining room featuring good food with four course evening dinners and choice of menu. Bedrooms vary in size and aspect and, although simply furnished, feature private facilities, television and tea and coffee making facilities.

Reserved Coach Seats
YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to choose the coach seat of your choice which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services. In most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats 23 and 24 move to the driver’s side of the vehicle, whilst seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
