DAY Our marvellous full day excursion heads off via the back roads and lanes of the New Forest, with its famous ponies and elusive deer, to the ‘Capital of the New Forest’, Lyndhurst. Here there is time to browse through the many antique shops before continuing on to historic Salisbury. Famous for its magnificent Gothic cathedral, and tallest spire in England, the grid-like streets with their blackand- white half-timbered houses and speciality shops are a joy to explore. |
FULL DAY Our full day excursion takes us to the Isle of Purbeck, past the ruins of Corfe Castle, to the little resort town of Swanage. Here there is plenty of time to explore this pretty seaside town before returning via the affluent town of Poole, on the edge of the Solent, with its stunning natural harbour and bustling quay. |
