| Irish Highlights - Your Itinerary |
SUNDAY Make your own way to one of our featured regional airports - Stansted, Gatwick, Heathrow, Norwich or Southampton. Meet our representative after customs and transfer to the Tara Towers Hotel for the next four nights. |
MONDAY This morning use your included three day Dublin Bus Pass and join our Tour Manager on the bus into the heart of the city for a full day of sightseeing and shopping. Enjoy great shopping in Grafton Street, explore the bars and cafes of Temple Bar, or perhaps just relax a while in pretty St Stephen Square. |
TUESDAY A scenic afternoon tour into the Wicklow Mountains, which rise to the south of Dublin to a height of over 3000 feet. Our route is by the pretty village of Enniskerry and Great Sugar Loaf Mountain to Glendalough located between two lakes, the site of an ancient ruined monastery. After an early dinner we head for the Arlington Hotel for a night of true Irish hospitality. With a complimentary pint of Guinness to get you in the Gaelic mood, you’ll enjoy a superb evening of traditional Irish music and dancing. |
WEDNESDAY Morning excursion around the shores of Dublin Bay to Howth, which was once the main harbour for the city. We circle Howth Head for panoramic views of the bay, the city beyond, and the rocky offshore island known as Ireland’s Eye, a seabird sanctuary. |
THURSDAY Today you are transferred from the hotel to Dublin Airport for the flight back to your chosen regional airport. 3 Day Dublin Pass - Provides unlimited travel on the Dublin bus network and with the bus stop located just outside your hotel, with direct services into the city centre, seeing the Dublin highlights was never easier! |
