Irish Jig Coach Tours - 7 Days Tour Highlights • Donegal Town • Giant’s Causeway • Portrush • Ardara • Derryveagh Mountains • Errigal Peaks • Lots of traditional Irish entertainment |
County Donegal presents an ever-changing spectacle of landscapes and seascapes set
against a backdrop of moorland and mountains with evidence of traditional Irish culture
all around. Letterkenny, County Donegal’s largest town, has a vibrant atmosphere, it’s a
great place to shop for everything from high street fashions to quality handcrafted goods
and designer clothes - alternatively, you can relax and enjoy a coffee in one of
Letterkenny’s many continental-style cafes. Our Irish Jig is based at the luxurious Clanree
Hotel, with traditional Irish music every night. |
| The Irish Jig - Your Itinerary |
SUNDAY From local departure points we make our way towards Wales for an overnight stop. |
MONDAY An early start enables us to use the fast ferry from Holyhead to Dublin (breakfast voucher included), before travelling northwest to Letterkenny and the Clanree Hotel. A warm personal welcome awaits us from General Manager, Michael Naughton, and his team before dinner, then just sit back, relax and enjoy the music and dancing with the live band. |
TUESDAY A full day excursion exploring some of County Donegal’s gems.We visit Donegal Town, Ardara, famous for its tweed, returning via the Derryveagh Mountains and the spectacular peak of Errigal. After dinner enjoy the evening’s live entertainment. |
WEDNESDAY A free day to enjoy the wonderful facilities of this lovely hotel. Perhaps treat yourself to a spa treatment, take a swim in the indoor pool, or explore all that Letterkenny has to offer. After dinner in the evening visit Oscars Bar for another great night of Irish musical entertainment. |
THURSDAY Our excursion takes us north to the Giant’s Causeway and the seaside resort of Portrush. In the evening look forward to a special Gala Night - starting with dinner, and followed by traditional Irish dancers & music from a local band. |
FRIDAY Regrettably we leave Donegal behind us, and make our way to Dublin for the evening fast ferry crossing to Holyhead. A meal voucher is provided as our arrival at the final overnight hotel is late. |
SATURDAY Our tour draws to a close with the journey homeward. |
