FULL DAY Touring the southern Cotswolds, with visits to Burford, where the High Street has a collection of fine stone houses, boutique shops, descending to a medieval bridge, the old Thameside town of Lechlade, head of navigation and affluent Cirencester, important in Roman times and now the largest town in the area with a busy market square. |
