Holiday Itinerary First port of call is Lerwick, capital of the Shetlands and Britain’s most northerly town, some one hundred miles from the mainland. The approach is still guarded by the brooding, restored Fort Charlotte, a hexagonal behemoth dating back to 1665... A late night in beautiful Bergen allows time to sample the outdoor life of this compact Nordic city. Cradled by hills, the city looks spectacular from the summit of Mount Floyen. In town, the quirky, half-timbered warrens of the historic Bryggen invite you to lose yourself for a couple of fascinating hours.

DAY 1: Journey by executive coach to Leith. We sail at 5.30pm.

DAY 2: Lerwick, Shetlands Dock in Lerwick around 12 noon. We set sail at 6pm.

DAY 3: Bergen Dock in Bergen at 9am. A full day at leisure to explore Bergen. We set sail at 11pm.

DAY 4: Cruising at sea A full day at leisure to enjoy the on-board facilities.

DAY 5: Newcastle Dock in Newcastle around 7.30. Journey home by executive coach.
