Day: Krk Island Linked to the Croatian mainland by bridge, Krk Island is perfectly situated in the tranquil waters of the adriatic. We visit the towns of Krk and Baska. Full Day: Plitvice Lakes Plitvice’s sixteen lakes are considered to be amongst the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world. Connected by waterfalls cascading through picturesque surroundings, the lakes were declared a national park in 1949, making them Croatia’s oldest National Park. Full Day: Zagrab We travel to the ancient capital of Croatia, Zagreb. The high town is home to the Presidential Palace, the Parliament buildings, and wonderful old winding streets which are a pleasure to explore.
